Rhynearson, Bert J.
78, of Largo, passed away June 17, 2017. Bert was born in IN on August 19, 1938 and passed away on June 17, 2017 in FL where he had lived since 2002. Preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Lucy Rhynearson; and his son, Kevin. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Beverly; his children, John (Janice) of IN, Jerry (Wanda) of TN, and Karen Johnson of HI; and his grandchildren, Mickey, Kevin and Adam. Bert worked at Inland Steel, now Arcelor-Mittal, in the #3 Cold Strip for 42 years. He was an active member if Steelworkers Union 1010 and for a period of time, served as a griever. Additionally, he worked for McColly Realtors, Schererville, IN. After moving to FL he joined the Sons (S.A.L.) of the American Legion Post 273, Madeira Beach, FL. Bert also enjoyed several games of pool each week with friends, especially his best buddy Ernie. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the care and kindness shown by the Heart Institute of Largo, especially Dr. Ron Walsh. Bert has chosen cremation; no service will be held. Serenity Funeral Home of Largo is handling the arrangements.

As a former co-worker and friend, Bert was a real and sincere person. His dry wit was sometimes more funny than his humor. I helped him with his Union position win back in the day. He will be truly missed. Our condolences to the family. Bob Dereski
