Bethel C. Brown, 83, of Ooltewah, TN,passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was retired from Johnston Southern Company as Sr. Vice President and CFO and was a member of the Ooltewah United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of the VFW. He was the son of the late Bethel C. and Evelyn Hannah Brown and was also preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Tull and a niece, Melanie Tull. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Amy Nutt officiating. A private family interment will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
