Obituary

Funeral service for Mrs. Bettie Jean Banner, 79, formerly of Anniston, will be Monday, July 7, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Andy Curtis officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Banner passed away Wednesday at DeKalb Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Banner is survived by her children, Vicki Combs, Richard Rodriguez, Johnny Rodriguez, Stephen Rodriguez, Kenneth Rodriguez and Chris Banner; brother, Harold Dewberry and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Banner is preceded in death by her husband, Melven Banner.

Mrs. Banner was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Saks. She was a loved mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed by her family and friends.
