Betty F. Varner, 80, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017, at home, in Jacksonville, FL. She was born October 22, 1936 to John and Avie Driggers in Scriven, GA. Betty retired from Prudential Insurance Company and was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. She loved to shop, go camping, fishing, gardening and working in the yard. One of her favorite passions was spending time with family….she was everyone's Mom. Betty is preceded in death by her son Lewis Steven Churchville and her daughter Pamela Churchville. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Junior, two daughters Brenda F. Churchville, Karen L. Moody, one sister Joan Sarisky, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home is serving the family. A visitation for friends will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral services to be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 1:00pm with interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
