Betty Ofelia Roybal, 90, joined her husband in heaven on May 16, 2017. She was born on December 21, 1926 in Salida, CO to John and Laura Maestas. In 1951, she married George Roybal. Betty worked as a cook and dietician at Salida Hospital until retirement. The legacy she leaves behind is the beautiful family that she devoted her life to and loved with all her heart. Betty is survived by her sisters, Viola Martinez, Dorothy Maez, Gloria Archuleta, Donna Rendon, Juanita Serna; and brother Jake Maestas. She is also survived by her daughter, Janet (Doug) Davis; sons, Fred (Becky) Roybal and Danny (Susan) Roybal; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great -grandchildren. Betty is predeceased by her parents, John and Laura; her brother, Julian Maestas; her husband, George; her son, George Roybal; and her grandson, Julian Roybal. A visitation will be held Saturday, May 20 at 11 am at Martin Mortuary with a funeral service at 12pm. A graveside service will follow at Memorial Gardens 2970 North Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81504.
