ARLINGTON -- Betty Lou McDaniel Alexander, 83, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012.

Visitation: 12-2 p.m. Thursday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Thursday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Burial: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Betty was a fun loving person who enjoyed life to the fullest. She spent many years helping others through her nursing experience. Betty loved the Lord and practiced what she preached. Betty was born July 15, 1929 in Ada, OK, to Jewell and William McDaniel. She lived in Ada prior to moving to Grand Prairie, TX where she graduated high school. Ft. Worth was her home until moving to Arlington, TX in 1957.

Survivors: Husband of 63 years, Don R. Alexander; daughter, Patti Buck and husband James of Thornton, CO; son, Mark Alexander and wife Debi of Arlington, TX; grandson, Ryan Alexander and wife Lacy of Arlington, TX; granddaughter, Melanie Buck and husband Chet of Brighton, CO, granddaughter, Jennifer and Fernando Fuermann of Reunion, CO; and three great grandchildren.
