Betty Anglin , 79, of Belton, Mo died at Research Medical Center March 18, 2011. Visitation will be at noon till 2:00 PM, Tues. March 22, 2011 followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at McGilley & George Funeral Home 611 Chestnut Belton, Mo. Cremation. Betty was born May 10, 1931 in Kansas City, Mo to Aubrey and Dorothea Siebert. She worked for Dazey Products for a number of years. Retired from work as a production line supervisor at Peterson Manufacturing after more than 25 years. She has recently been working at the Family Cabin Restaurant as a cook for more than 15 years. Betty Anglin , 79, of Belton, Mo died at Research Medical Center March 18, 2011. Visitation will be at noon till 2:00 PM, Tues. March 22, 2011 followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at McGilley & George Funeral Home 611 Chestnut Belton, Mo. Cremation. Betty was born May 10, 1931 in Kansas City, Mo to Aubrey and Dorothea Siebert. She worked for Dazey Products for a number of years. Retired from work as a production line supervisor at Peterson Manufacturing after more than 25 years. She has recently been working at the Family Cabin Restaurant as a cook for more than 15 years. She has lived at the Granada Villas for some years now and has been active with the senior community there. She is known for making the best peanut brittle in the region regularly giving containers to emergency personnel when they respond to false alarms at the Villas. She was an avid quilter and has warmed the whole family with her beautiful work. Her passion was contagious and she happily infected others with the quilting bug. She rarely shopped for herself but was always on the lookout for treasurers for others. Rare was the person who left her house with less than which they arrived. She was vibrant and active until her untimely death. She enjoyed time with her family and a day at the boat as well. She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothea Kurtz and son John Wayne Sandifer. She is survived by her children: Emmet Eugene Sandifer, David Sandifer and wife Jo, Diana Johnson and husband Michael, Rick Hughes and wife Charmene. Grandchildren: Kristina Stricklin-Baker, Christopher Chavis, Aaron Hughes, Sarah Thompson and Ryan Johnson. Great-grandchildren: Dakoda Stricklin, Cheyenne Stricklin, Delilah Chavis, Mason Thompson and RayLee Thompson. Her Siblings Dean Tracy and Dale Tracy. She has held a large and loving family together for years in her small one bedroom apartment has hosted holiday and weekend get-togethers for twenty or more friends and family members at a time.
