Betty was a dear friend to my neighbor in Fincastle,Virginia. I met her twice and could tell that she was a very dedicated Christian. She and my neighbor, Mary Switzer were like sisters and I believe their husbands worked together for many years in Florida in the construction business. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and we look forward to being reunited with Betty in Heaven one day.

I will never be the same because Betty was my dearest friend. She was a listener and wasn't afraid to give advice when it was needed. I trusted her with everything. We rode together to church on Wednesdays and Sundays and then went out with the "lunch bunch" She really enjoyed being with these friends and didn't want to miss. I'm not in reality yet though I know she will be in Heaven waiting for those she knows will be there. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through the next days and weeks without your dear mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.

Ms. Betty, a true and honest person, with such a love for The Lord.
I volunteered with her at HRMC and loved being around her. She possessed
a love to help others, a logical sense of reason, and a wonderful sense
of humor. So glad I knew her in this life and hope to see her in the next.
Dear family, thank you for sharing her and God Bless you. Take Care.

Boy, how I'll miss Aunt Betty...the emails, phone calls, & seeing her each year when Mother & I come down for a visit. She was one of the finest Christian women I've ever known, & was a joy to me throughout the years. I'll never forget when she flew out to Salt Lake City, when Mother & Daddy were visiting me, & we all went to Yellowstone, Tetons, Glacier National Park, Sundance, etc. She & I shared rooms when we stopped, & we awoke in Yellowstone one day & she said, Happy 40th Birthday, Becky! Wow, that was almost 20 years ago. Seems like yesterday. Mother will miss her greatly, as they talked all the time. So will I...but I'm glad that she's with her beloved Uncle G now. Love you all!

Mike & Susan, Brenda and I are sorry that we can't come to Florida at this time. We will see Aunt Betty again over in God's tomorrow. We're looking forward to the day when King Jesus calls the family home and we will never be separated again.
With much love,

Aunt Betty was a dear and loving person. Every word in the above passage is true. She was there for me many times. She may not have agreed with everything said or done, but she never judged. This tragedy has broken many hearts.
Her unique laughter is now being heard in heaven. I'm sure Uncle Gene and all her family members recognized it when they heard her rejoiceful laugh when she saw what a beautiful place she will live in for eternity.
I loved her. Her niece,

Michael, I wish I could get to Florida to attend your Mom's service, but will have to wait until I can see her in our Eternal Home and then there will be no more good-byes. I do treasure the time the Lord allowed our paths to cross while here on earth. And I look forward to seeing her and your Dad again.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, though at this time as you go through this time of grieving because she will be sorely missed. She was a Great Lady and she loved her family so much. Just keep your eyes on the Eastern Sky when we'll all be reunited again. Love you, Carolyn Whedbee
