CARTER, Betty (nee Player/Reid) C.A.M, C.G.A
We are sad to announce after battling several illnesses her passing on November 27, 2012 at the age of 92. Wife of the late Godfrey (Jerry) Carter for over 50 years, also beloved friend of Thomas Murphy. Will be sadly missed by Sandra & Arthur Marsh and Nova Carter & Clayton Troupe. Grandsons: Keith Marsh (wife Ann), Rodney Marsh, Steven Babcox (wife Darlene) and Scott Babcox. Great-grandchildren; Shade, Rachel, Shane, Colin, Kayla, Chaise and Betty's many friends. Betty was a long time volunteer at the R.O.M, A.G.O. and Senior Alumnae of the University of Toronto. No visitation will be held and the internment will be private. Thanks to the staff of Rouge Valley Health Centre and Scarborough General Hospital for their wonderful care of Betty. Donations in memory of Betty can be of your choosing but her favourite charity was The Salvation Army.

I never met Betty, she was a dear friend to my daughter Erica Henderson, both loved opera...Betty's passing left a void in Erica's life.
