Betty was born February 10, 1924, in Commodore, Pennsylvania to the late Roy Edwin Larson and Helme Marie Victoria Larson. She attended public schools in Brockport, Pennsylvania and graduated from Horton High School in June 1941. She worked in the defense industry during WWII 1942-1945 for Sylvania Electric Company in Emporium and Williamsport, Pennsylvania. She married her groom William Maurice Prindible September 18, 1943, in Ridgway, Pennsylvania. After her marriage, she was a homemaker and moved with her husband while he completed his military service at Pope Field, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on to Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania and the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado to help her husband finish his college education. After that, she and her family lived in several different countries while her husband pursued a career in foreign petroleum exploration and production.

Along with providing a loving home for her husband and children, under difficult circumstances involved in living abroad over an extended period of time, she became an expert in hand-work crafts, specializing in needlepoint. She also worked in charitable activities and served as Vice President of the Women's Golf Association in Hide-A-Way Lake, Lindale, Texas, where she lived with her husband from 1987 until February 2012, when they moved to Austin, Texas.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Senes and Carl Larson; her sister, Nathel Faulk; and her oldest son, William Riley Prindible.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, William Maurice Prindible; two sons, Michael C. Prindible of Plano, Texas and Thomas S. Prindible of Austin, Texas; daughter-in-law, Kathy Prindible of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren, Jeni Tahaney and her husband, John, Bill Prindible and his wife, Patricia, and Danielle Pedigo and her husband, Jason; and one great grandson, Will Prindible.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Cecilia Catholic School, C/O Kathy Prindible, 902 Cedar Hill Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75208.

"Bill, I was so sorry to hear about Betty. I will always remember the help you and Betty gave us when we arrived in Libya, help, wisdom and above all..." Eddy Beckelhymer (Austin)
