Betty Fay Crittenden Rader, age 72 of Bulls Gap, went home to glory on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved gardening with her husband and retired from Formex after 24 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Callie and Melvin Crittenden; daughters, Leisa Nunnery and Charlette Harvey; brother, Kenneth and Homer Crittenden; sister-in-law, Ruth Crittenden; brothers-in-law, Hurbert Smith and Shelby Johnson; and great-grandson, Jacob Light. Mrs. Rader leaves behind her husband of 30 years, Earl Rader; daughters, Teresa Collins and husband Clarence, Patricia Heatherly and husband Gerald; step-daughter, Earleen Townley and husband Scott; brothers, Jim and Paul Crittenden; sisters, Eva Smith and Eileen Johnson; grandchildren, April Martin, Elizabeth Donnelly and husband Brett, Adam Nunnery and wife Melia, Julie Espinoza and husband Mario, Amanda Light and husband Dustin, Chad Johnson, Jeremy Whitt, Scott Heatherly, Jonathan Holt and wife Ashley, Chandler Townley, Shaun Martin, and James Moretz; and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Bulls Gap Funeral Home. Rev. Donnie Bible and Rev. Richard Long will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the services. Bulls Gap Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
