Simmons, Betty Jean born on August 11, 1933 went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2014 at the age of 80. Betty had many interests including square dancing, crossword puzzles, embroidery, sewing and attending services at the First Baptist Church in Dover. Preceded in death by her parents, Thurman and Pearl Reed, brother Buddy Reed and her son Michael Cotten, Betty is survived by her beloved husband Forice Lee, daughters Janene Cook (Dale) and Cindy Watson (Ralph), brothers; Bill Reed (Pat)Don Reed (Marilyn), sister Gail Belchoff (Boris), grandchildren Chris Fleming, Kenny Watson (Jessica), Darin Watson (Heather), Dusty Cook and great grandchildren Kyle Fleming, Sydney Watson, Charles Watson, Hanna Watson, Sammie Watson and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday April 13th from 4-6pm with a prayer service Monday April 14th at 1pm with interment following at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL 33511.
