Obituary

Betty June (Huth) Turner 85 of Lubbock passed away on November 10th, 2012. Visitation will be held Monday November 12th, 2012 from 6-8 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be Tuesday November 13th,2012 at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 11. Betty was born in Tamaroe, IL on July 8th, 1927 to Edward C. Huth and Mae Junie Huth. She moved to Bakersfield, CA in 1935. Betty met A.L. Turner Jr. while he was stationed at Minter Army Air Field and married on October 28th 1945. Betty is survived by her two daughters; Pat Puryear Bailey of Earth, Tx and Judy Williams of Windsor, Co. Her brother Don Huth of Bakersfield, Ca, 5...

Betty was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church for over 55 years and was a member of the choir for 40 years. She worked at Hemphill-Wells and Dillards until her retirement in 1997. She volunteered for RSVP for many years after her retirement. Betty was a gifted artisan and enriched the lives of her family and friends with her god given talents. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
