Funeral service for Bettye C. Carpenter, age 81, of Childersburg will be Saturday, Julu 12, 2014 at 11AM at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with Brother Steve Barlow officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by husband: JC Carpenter; parents: John and Christine Chaffin; sisters: Loufrell, Delores, Martha Gail, JoAnn And Dot and daughter-in-law: Mary Carpenter. She was a member of Coosa Church of Christ. She is survived by her sons: David Carpenter, Steve Carpenter and wife Susan, Daughter: Carolyn Carpenter, Brother: Lowell Chaffin, Grandchildren: Stacey, Beth and Amanda Carpenter, and Kim Mitchell and husband Jack, Great Grandchild: Caroline Mitchell and Special Grandchildren: Olivia and Eli Cobb. Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel will direct the services.
