Beverly Nan Alfson, 82, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, Great grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on August 7th, 2017.
"Bev" was born Beverly Christenson in St. Paul, MN & graduated valedictorian of her high school class. She was a leader and to the day she passed always touched the hearts of anyone she came across. Her sense of confidence & positive belief in everyone has and continues to transcend everyone she has met, with her magnetic personality, quick wit, & signature lipstick.
She married Henry Soul for 22 years & had 2 daughters. She began her long term career with Sears Roebuck in MN in 1958. She later married Darrell Alfson for 38 years, moved as needed in their working careers, but lived in AZ for the majority of time, where they loved creating memories, adventures and traditions for all of the family.
Bev is survived by daughters Synthia Soul Hunter, Sheryl Soul Joseph, Linda Alfson Schemmel, 10 grandchildren, 4,(now almost 5 great grandchildren) & 1 brother, Bruce Christenson.
A memorial service honoring Bev will be held on Sunday, Aug. 20th at 9 AM with a burial at approximately at 10 AM at Sunland Memorial, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351, followed by food & remembrance.
