BEVERLY ANN GREEN
November 8, 1929 – March 27, 2015
Beverly Ann Kizer Green was born November 8, 1929. She passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, MSG (RET) Jack M Green, her parents William Harold and Katherine Kizer and one sibling William “Bud” Kizer.
Beverly married Jack on October 4, 1952 in Danville, Illinois. She and Jack were blessed with four daughters; Patricia Kathleen Corder (Gary), Cindy Green, Janet Waller (David), and Karen Knight (Danny), four grandsons, Ryan Corder, Mark Waller, Paul Corder (Hayley), Drayton Knight. She was a member of the Bowman Avenue United Methodist Church, Danville Illinois. She spent many hours volunteering on Redstone Arsenal and within the community. Beverly and Jack lived all over the world and she loved to travel, sew, embroidery, read and learn new food recipes and languages.
Beverly is survived by her four daughters; grandchildren; three sisters, Marjorie Dodd, Ogden, Illinois; Jean Ireland, Veedersburg, Indiana; and Pat Britt, Danville, Illinois; four sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law.
The family will be present to receive friends on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Valhalla Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., with funeral services commencing at 4:00 p.m. in Valhalla Memorial Chapel. Pastor Nathan Eldridge is officiating. Interment will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
