San Angelo-- Funeral Services for Beverly Ann Nelson, 65, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 4, 2015 in New Jerusalem Church of God and Christ with Apostle Theo Boone and Superintendent Johnnie Allen officiating. Burial will be following at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo.
Mrs. Nelson passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 in San Angelo. She was born to Lawrence and Maggie Mc Dowell on May 11, 1949 in Rosebud, Texas. Beverly married Eddy Nelson on January 6, 1996 in San Angelo. She was a loving housewife and mother. She was a faithful member of New Jerusalem Church of God and Christ. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father and 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Eddy Nelson; daughters, Patricia Ann Ford, Iris Ann Wiltz and husband Charles, Pamela Jean Austin and husband Derrick; Sons, Curtis B. Ford Jr. and Gregory L. Ford; mother, Maggie Marie McDowell; siblings, Faye Rene Powell and Calean Blanford; 22 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; 9 step children, 5 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
