STROTHER, Beverly Jean, 61, left this life and entered into heaven on Friday November 23, 2012. Beverly was born on August 17, 1951 in Flint, MI. At a young age, the family moved to Tampa and it is here that she grew up and spent the rest of her life. She graduated from Plant High School and had a lengthy employment with Piccadilly Cafeterias. It was at Piccadilly where she made many friendships both with fellow workers as well as customers. Beverly would tell you she was just a simple person but her family and friends would tell you differently. She was loyal to many. She was kind and compassionate. She loved crosswords, playing games, and watching scary movies. Beverly had a soft spot for animals and considered her pets her family. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Jim Fell of Grapevine, TX. The family would like to express gratitude to her wonderful neighbors and friends who comforted her in her last days and a very heartfelt thanks to her angel ICU nurses at Florida Hospital Carrollwood. A visitation will be held on Thursday November 29, 2012 from 10 to 11AM at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 6100 Memorial Hwy, Tampa, FL 33615 with funeral services beginning at 11AM. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church in Beverly's name.
