Billie Black Guess, age 72, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in Magnolia, Texas. Born in Minden, Texas, she was a true caregiver to her family and to all. She was in Child Nutrition Services with Aldine ISD for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Idie Black; and brother, Joe Black, Jr. Survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Sherman Guess; son, Paul E. Guess and fiance' Christie Pruett; daughters, Lauren Hasha and husband David, and Paulette Scroggins; grandchildren, Corey, Jordan, Michael, Eric, and Adam Hasha, also January Liles and husband Russell, and Eric Scroggins; and great-grandchildren, Eternity Dawn and Quentin Gregory. Visitation will be held 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will then be at 12:30p.m. in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
