Billie Jean Hamrick age 78 of Centreville entered into rest on July 31, 2015 at DCH Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Hamrick; one son, Lonnie Burt; parents, Issac and Blanche Burnett; one sister, Gursie Lee Lambert; and three brothers, Ralph Burnett; Buck Burnett; and Glenn Burnett.
She is survived by two sons, Butch Hamrick of Centreville; Pat Hamrick (Christi) of Alabaster; two daughters, Jacki Beck (Roger) of Tuscaloosa; Vickie Brian (Steve) of Atlanta, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Brian; Morgan Brian; Zach Hamrick; Abby Hamrick; Ben Hamrick; Cole Beck; and Jack Beck; one brother, Jimmy Burnett of Bessemer; five sisters, Edith White of West Blocton; Betty White of Alexander City; Louise Jones of Hueytown; Gertrude Smith of Concord; and Virginia Venz of Bessemer;
Pallbearers are Jim Burnett, Dale Burnett, James Burnett, Randy Lambert, Jeff Brewer, and John White.
Honorary Pallbearers are Gerald Burnette, Greg White, Charlie Burnett, Mike Lambert, Phillip Burnett, Barry White, and Jason White.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brent Baptist Church.
Service will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Brent Baptist Church with Rockco Funeral Home directing and Rev. Mike Grindle and Dr. Robert Crider officiating.
Burial will be at Pineland Memorial Cemetery immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Brent Baptist Church Youth Fund.
