Mr. Billy Ray Peden, age 64 of Five Points passed away on March 9, 2016 at his residence. He was a native of Lawrence County and a pipefitter. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era and a member of the Word of Life Ministries.
He is survived by his longtime friend, Jackie Fowler; four daughters, Meleaha Peden of Nashville, TN; Krystal Compton of Nashville, TN; Chasity Pomes of Five Points, TN, Danielle Stefanski of Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren; one brother, Lee Webb of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sisters, Ann Hill and Janice Fox both of Lawrenceburg, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Peden and Ruth Hill and a brother, David Webb.
Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Friday, March 11, 2016 at 1 pm with Gary Vance officiating and interment in Napier Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo, Friday, March 11, 2016, 11 am ~ 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers memorials be made to National League of POW/MIA families organization.
