Billy Wayne Hightower, 87, of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away December 16, 2017. He was born in Mt. Vernon, Texas, on April 20, 1930.
He was formerly married to Lee Hightower. Bill had a long career in the oil and gas industry. He had a passion for photography and wood work.
He is survived by his daughters, Denise Woods and Lisa Nelson; sons, Greg and Keith Hightower; grandchildren, Jason, Chad, and Toby Long, Britney, Chase, Jessica and Kenan Hightower, Garrett Hicks, Shae and Landon Nelson, Rene Hightower; brother, Jerry Hightower and wife Barbara.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, and children, Steve and Tammy Hightower.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 22, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Room of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. The funeral liturgy will take place at 1:30 p.m. on December 23, 2017, in Forest Park's chapel with the Rite of Committal immediately following in the cemetery. After the committal, guests are invited to a reception in Forest Park's event room.

I did not know Mr. Bill, but heard so many great things about him from his daughter Lisa who is a dear friend of mine. My deepest condolences to the family. May God give you the peace and strength to get through your great loss.
