Billy Joe Crabb, 73, of Booneville died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born August 4, 1939 to Herman Crabb and Gladys Crabb Files. He was retired from Hays Construction Company after 32 years and a member of First Baptist Church Booneville. He was also a US Navy Veteran.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at McMillan Funeral Home with Dr. Gayle Alexander officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ann Barnett Crabb; one son, Jeffrey (Sandra) Crabb of Madison, AL; one grandson, Heath (Jennifer) Crabb and one granddaughter, Toni Crabb both of Madison, AL; and one half-brother, Herman (Nora) Crabb of Central Point, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Pounds and Mr. & Mrs. Walter Lee Crabb; and his step-father, R.G. Files.

Honorary pallbearers will be his Hardees coffee buddies and his Sunday school class.

Visitation will be 5-9pm Monday and until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
