I miss you Daddy. I know that you are here with me in spirit, but that does not fill the emptiness in my heart. I love you.

It has been 6 months today since you left us Billy but it seems like just yesterday. Everyone says it gets easier but that doesn't seem to be the case. I am trying very hard to keep you alive for your grands. I know you hated leaving them. I know you are still here in spirit. I feel you around all the time. I am glad you are with our loved ones and out of pain. Love you forever.

Billy we laid you at your final resting place as you requested. You didn't tell us how hard that would be. I will think of you every time we go there but somehow that doesn't seem enough. I miss you every day. I think of something and pick up the phone to call you and tell you and then I remember that you are gone. Watch over our kids. They are still heartbroken. So am I. Love you forever
