Blaine Jackson, 87 passed away Feb. 13, 2013 in Palm Harbor, Fl. Born in Pineville, WV. Blaine was a WW11 U.S Army veteran and was part of the Normandy D-Day invasion. Blaine had 57 years with the local 17 Iron Workers Union in Cleveland, OH. He and his wife Marie moved from Kent, OH to Johnson City, TN then to Rock Hill, SC. Blaine is survived by his wife Marie of 64 years, his daughters Faye (Marincin) of Palm Harbor, Fl. and her husband John, Sherri (Bingham) Rock Hill, SC and her husband Doug, son Butch Jackson of Palm Harbor, Fl. Grandchildren Lisa, Danny, Lacey, Morgan & great grandchildren Matthew & Jacob. Blaine is preceded in death by his Mother and Father, four brothers and one sister.
Blaine was a member of Charlotte Ave Church of Christ in Rock Hill, SC.
Services will be held in Princeton, WV at Roselawn Funeral Home & Cemetery 450 Courthouse Rd. Princeton, WV. Visitation at 10:00 and service at 11:00 on Tuesday 2/19/2013. A memorial service will be held at Charlotte Ave. Church of Christ 339 Charlotte Ave. Rock Hill, SC at 7:00 PM on 2/21/2013. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sun Coast Hospice in Pinellas County Fl., 6770 102nd Ave., N., Pinellas Park, FL 33782
