Bobby Ray Henson, 79, of Lubbock passed from this life Monday, November 20, 2017 at a local retirement home. He was born to Bill and Allie (Hill) Henson in Gilbert, AZ. April 8, 1938. Celebration of life services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm, Friday, November 24, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by a wife, Faye and a son Bobby Don Henson.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his daughter, Laura Ford and husband Brent of Lubbock, daughter-in-law, Sherry Henson of Amarillo; sisters, Betty Millican and husband, Harry and Bonnie Averett; brother, Billy Henson; grandchildren, Mackenzie Sandoval and husband Michael, Braxton Ford, Baylie Ford, April Fowler, Tara Chapman, Wyoming Fowler; great grandchildren Breann Mock, Triston Mock, Brooklynn Sandoval, Kristopher Sandoval and Hayleigh Sandoval.
