Bobby (BJ) Bowers, 81, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012. He was born May 23, 1931 in Wichita, Kansas.

BJ served in the Army and retired as an FAA/ATCT Manager at the Evansville Airport.

He was a member of the Eagles and was a Mason in the Newburgh Lodge 174. He was a Kentucky Colonel.

BJ was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Margaret K. Bowers in 2011 and a brother, George Bowers.

He is survived by daughter, Victoria Grove (Kerri) of Sarasota, FL; six nieces and one nephew; and close family friend, Rick Dillbeck.

Services will be 4:00 PM Monday, November 26, 2012, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. Dr. Todd Gile. Friends may visit Monday from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, P.O. Box 1, Evansville, IN 47701.
