Bobby Huffmaster Obituary

Mr. Robert "Bobby" Huffmaster, age 77, of Mobile, AL, entered into rest Monday, March 14, 2016, at a local hospital. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 19, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile. A Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the Oakleigh Chapel at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile. Mrs. Lori Metzger will officiate.

Mr. Huffmaster was born in Whistler, AL, on January 14, 1939, to the late Wesley Eugene Huffmaster and Doree Litchford Huffmaster. He was a graduate of Vigor High School Class of 1957 and worked in insurance most of his life. Bobby and Rose traveled the country in their RV, and they played golf in every State. He was also an avid fisherman and square dancer. Mr. Huffmaster was a member of Azalea City Golf Course, Whistler United Methodist Church, and Mobile Singles Square Dance Club. Bobby loved his Alabama Crimson Tide. Roll Tide!

Mr. Huffmaster is survived by his wife of 53 ½ years, Rose Marie Meaut Huffmaster; two children, Dr. Michael Eugene Huffmaster and Vicki Marie (Chip) Williams; three grandchildren, Rachel Williams, Riley Williams, and Cooper Williams; three sisters, Patricia Taylor, Judy (Charles) Lacey, and Pamela (Willie) Herndon; and special best friends, Ken (Rose) Muse.

My sympathy to all of the family. I went to school with Bobby at Whistler Elemetary and also to Vigor High and graduated in '57 too. I saw him and talked to him at a VHS reuion at least once. I can even remember his very pretty mother coming to school on occasion. I know he will be missed by many friends. May all of your good memories stay with you!
