Bonny Franklin Crouch of Southport formally of Stamford passed away May 26, 2014 in Southport. He was the loving husband to the late Rosemarie. Bonny was the beloved father to his two daughters Cheryl (Arthur) Schulz of Stratford and Dawn (Kurt) Onufrik of Carmel, NY. Bonny was born September 23, 1924 in Harrisonburg, VA to the late Charles B. and Minnie (Cahill) Crouch. Bonny was a proud Navy Veteran who served his country with Valor during World War II. Prior to his retirement Bonny spent many years as a Baker for Arnolds In addition to his Daughters, Bonny was predeceased by his son, William and 4 brothers and sisters and is survived by his Daughter in Law Deborah Crouch and 5 Grandchildren: Kurt Schulz, Erica Schulz-Taylor, Bryan Crouch, Michelle (Kevin) Ducie and Zachary Onufrik and one great-grandchild. Family and friends may call at the Leo P . Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 2900 Summer Street, Stamford, CT on Thursday from 5 until 8PM. A funeral service will be held Friday May 30th at 11:00 AM at Turn of River Presbyterian Church 49 Turn of River Road Stamford, CT 06905. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Turn of River Church or the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org Visit www.leopgallagherstamford.com to leave words of comfort for the family.

I know you all are having a party with your daughter Cheryl and Art who joined you little less then 2 years ago. I send you my sympathy. Your father was such a good neighbor and friend. Always willing to give gardening advice and samples from his plentiful garden. I remember what fun he had at the croquet tournaments that Pete and I held every fall. If he wasn't always the winner, he always got a ribbon!

Today is a day we say goodbye to my loving grandfather. I will miss you so much you were a great man. I am glad I was back in Connecticut to be there for you to take you to see the birds and you always wanted too. I am sure your up in heaven with grandma and Bill and your talking about old times oh what a thrill. We will be celebrating your life in the next 2 days and know there will be times that there will be tears but I love you grandpa know that well I have had fun hanging out with you and mom eating shrimp and drinking coffee bye for now one day we will meet so save me a seat MISS YOU DEEPLY.

I will miss you. I am glad I was home and had the time to spend with you. I know you are up there with grandma and uncle Billy planning how to plant some tomatoes and spinach. I will miss going to visit you and going and seeing the birds and I know you are at peace now and in a better place.
