Brady Franklin Corley
WEST COLUMBIA – A graveside service for Brady Franklin Corley, 88, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall. Mr. Corley was born April 14, 1924 in Lexington, SC and passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013. He was the son of the late Ernest Mathias Corley and Anna Hubbard Cook Corley. He was a member of Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church; a graduate of BC High School; an Army Air Core Engineer Service Mechanic and served during World War II. Mr. Corley retired as an Independent Commercial Contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Hook Corley; daughters, Rebecca Corley Padgett (Lee) of Athens, GA; Vickie Corley Roberts (Steve) of Lexington; grandchildren, Jessica (Tristan) Venables; Thad Padgett (Beth), Gabe Padgett all of Athens; Casey (Brett) Vigrass of Mt. Pleasant, Will and Nick Roberts of Lexington; and great-grandson, Jonah Venables of Athens, GA.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church, 3011 Leaphart Road, West Columbia, SC 29169. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
