Played College Football with Tripp at Wofford and was thinking about him today. He was a great athlete and a truly good human being and we had alot positive conversations on and off the field. My deepest sympathy to the family. I know he is missed. One of the most genuinely good guys I have known.

Alicia, I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep you and the Kids in my prayers... I have found great comfort myself in this passage from Phillippians 4:6-7 (NLT) "Don't worry about anything: instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

Tripp was a fraternity brother of mine at Wofford, and because of our age difference, I didn't get to know him that well. What I do remember is that he always had a smile, an outstretched hand of friendship, and an encouraging word for the "new guys", and that's not something easily forgotten. His family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers, and I will keep the memories of him until we meet again.

I can remember Tripp crawling around on the back porch at grandmomma's. Having watched him grow up over the years I know you all were proud of him. I know we were when we saw him over the years.

He was a wonderful, caring young man and will truly be missed. We are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers during this time.
