Braulia G. Camarillo "Bea"
Simi Valley
Braulia G. Camarillo "Bea", age 71 of Santa Paula, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 20, at her daughter's home in Simi Valley surrounded by her whole family, after a 5 year battle with Thymus Carcinoma cancer.
Braulia was born to Clemente Garcia & Elizarda Ramos Garcia in Odem, Texas on March 26, 1938. Being raised in McAllen, Texas, as a young woman, she used to work as a waitress at "The Confectionate" for 5 years until she met her husband. For the next 10 years, she stayed home to raise her children and in 1977, she became an in-home nurse aide for many elderly citizens in Santa Paula. She loved to spend time caring for those who could no longer take care of themselves and she used to love to hear their stories of life. Throughout her journey of life, she touched so many people with her love, affection and sense of humor. There would never be a dull moment around her. In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
