There are no words to express the tragic loss of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Brenda was the most selfless woman this earth had to offer. Brenda was the glue that kept her family together for so many years. She was able to make anyone feel welcome instantly. She touched everyone's heart that crossed her path. Brenda was an extremely hard worker and would work tirelessly to make sure that her family had what they wanted. Brenda took care of her husband that was sick for 10 years and always had a smile on her face. She never complained of anything that life threw at her. She was an amazing cook, beautiful home maker, and naturally talented at everything she touched. Most of all, Brenda was giving in every way possible. She was an adventurous woman full of life. She loved her family with all her heart and lived every day for them.
She was our Rock. The life Brenda lived has shaped many into the wonderful person they are today. She lived by example and was always found helping someone. She will be greatly missed.

I worked with Brenda as her assistant for about 6 months when I joined Autozone. I learned so much from her both professionally and personally. Some people are just angels on earth , and she was one. She was so kind to me, and so very sweet and thoughtful to everyone. The world is a little darker without her here but heaven is a little brighter. I am so very sad to hear of her passing and my deepest condolances to her family. She always spoke of you all.

My heart is broken to hear of the loss of such an amazing person. I was so fortunate to have known Ms Brenda. She was such a kind spirit and a delight to be around. Her kindness and love for others will still shine through in the amazing job she has done raising her daughter, Amanda. I will always have a piece of her with me as she made blankets for my children. I will think of her often and she will be deeply missed.

I only had the privilege of knowing Brenda for such a short time but that was all it took to love her! She was an inspiration to me and I will always cherish the time I spent with her. She was always smiling and always busy. She seemed to never rest but she never complained. I see her all around me at work. She put her special touch on everything she did. I love you Ms Brenda and you will always be in my heart.

Brenda will be greatly missed by many, especially her children. I met Brenda back in early 90's. I used to love going to her house on the weekends and we would cook together; I remember how great she was in the kitchen. Although she had wonderful recipes, it was an honor when she asked me to go over and teach her how to make my New Mexico style enchiladas with New Mexico chili pods. Also, she would let me get on the CB radio to dispatch the guys when her and Bull were running their tow truck business; she was awesome that way. She would let me mess with Alonzo and Alfred over the CB radio. She was an amazing soul. I learned so much from Brenda, not just cooking, but what an amazing heart she had and her patience with people. Brenda always greeted you with a smile on her face no matter what she would be going through really admired how she would "just take care of business"!!! She was an exemplary mother, sister, daughter and wife. I will hold all those great memories forever. May you rest in peace, Brenda. You will never be forgotten but loved forever. A heart broken news which tore us all apart a few days ago. As an amazing, loving, soft hearted person departed from our lives. Always commended Ms.Brenda on being such a strong woman for her family and the pillar of the family. She always had a way of leaving her sent where ever she went, rather it be hand made pajamas for the kids or quilts or planting a small plant. She hemmed my clothes even if it was last minute, she never refused me. We will always Pray for her sweet soul to Rest In Peace and we will always have her beautiful memories with us. We love you Mom, you will be missed dearly.

To our beautiful sister Brenda, you became the rock of this family when we lost our mother back in 1999.
You wore the crown proudly! You always made sure we kept Mama's traditions that she had, family gatherings were always at your house, recipes were passed down. You were the glue that held us together. Now God has called you home now we are all heartbroken. You gave so much of yourself to everyone! Whether it was helping your children, grandchildren, or a sister you were always there for each and everyone of us! You made my dream come true this passed Christmas when you flew me down to Georgia to visit my family, and a girls trip to Graceland. The memories that we shared I had no idea it would be our last.
You always knew how blessed you were but I say we were blessed for knowing you!
I know you are rejoicing right now and one day when God calls us home we will rejoice too but for now we have to rely on memories we shared and try to mend our broken hearts.
We love you, your sisters

As our children married each other by relation we became in laws, but as time passed we became friends. She always had something new to show. She pushed me to join curves, always gave me tips on gardening as she had a green thumb. We had plans to build a garden at our farm. She always stayed happy, we loved her dearly and always will. She used to hem our clothes as she was also amazing at sewing, she did it with a smile. Great loss of an amazing and a wonderful personality. We love you Brenda and you will be missed.

There are no words to explain such an amazing woman. She has made me the woman I am today. She taught us by example to always help others and to do for people selflessly. As hard as she worked when we were growing up, I had never seen her without an enlighting smile. She went above and beyond for all us children. She did everything we asked..It being a banging meal by request or "mom can I have this" or "mom can you make me a crochet blanket" or just listening to us and being there. She was always there. So selfless.Never thought about herself...Always the family...My dear, beautiful, sweet mother..You were more to me than I ever knew. You were"My Person" and I am just heartbroken that you have left us here.
