Brendan Daniel, "Dugan", "Dan" O'Connell, age 83, was born October 26, 1930 in Detroit, MI. He passed away at home June 16, 2014 in Clinton Township. He graduated from U of D and is a General Motors retiree. He was an Army Korean Veteran and was a member of the V.F.W. Bruce Post, St. Clair Shores and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 3690, Caseville, and a 50 year member of the Knights of Columbus, Fr. Solanus Council 3797, Roseville. He is survived by his wife Carolyn and was the former husband of the late Maxine (Gregory) and the late Julia (Loch). He was the dear father of Linda (Paul) Lukasiewicz, Kathleen (Robert) Kuhr, Daniel (Diane), John, Kevin, and Gregory (Kelli). He was grandfather to Hannah (Francis) Minjeur and the late Jeremiah Lukasiewicz; Meghan, Katherine, Emma Kuhr; Daniel (Samantha), Kelly, Ryan and Sean O'Connell; Henry and Abby O'Connell. He is survived by his brother Donald and predeceased by his siblings Jeremiah, Marie, Gerald "Ged", Bridget, and Michael O'Connell. Visitation will be Thursday 2-8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:30 pm at Resurrection FH 40800 Hayes, Clinton Twp., MI 48038, and Friday 9:00 am until time of mass 9:30 am at St. Michael Catholic Community, Sterling Hghts., MI. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp., MI.
