LAVALLEE, Brent Gregoire, 37, passed away on May 8, 2017, in Tampa, FL. He is survived by his wife, Jasmin and son, Brent Jr.; parents, Kenneth & Celia Lavallee; sisters, Nicole (Silas) Hudson and Lenee (Alex) Cedeno; brother, Kenny (Geanette) Lavallee Jr, all of Tampa, FL. Brent also leaves behind his “Nana” Carmen Tramontana Griffin; his grandmother, “Mama Doug” Rose James Douglas; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; along with many more dear friends.
Brent was born on July 24, 1979 in St. Joseph Hospital, Tampa, FL. He attended Citrus Park Elementary, Ben Hill Junior High and Gaither High School. He worked alongside his father and brother for many years in the family air conditioning and electrical business. He was a gifted historian and could speak for hours on the history of Tampa which was of a special interest to him as he has family ties to the early Ybor City era. He researched and developed our family tree and could always find little known stories of family members which he would often share at family events.
We are heartbroken over his loss. We will miss his laugh, comic ability to imitate all of us, sweet spirit of kindness and giving, but most of all, his love.
A memorial in his honor and celebration of his life will be held on May 21, 2017 from 1-3PM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, Tampa, FL. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his son, Brent Lavallee Jr, via the savings account that has been setup for him for at Wells Fargo- Account #3000191302122.

I've just heard of Brent's passing. My heart is so heavy. Brent was truly my childhood best friend. Though the years pass and we grew older and Went our separate ways, you will always hold a place in place in my heart. May you rest in great peace. My condolences to your loving family.

The Broken Chain
We didn't know that day God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly. In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to loose you. You did not go alone, for part of us went with you. The day God called you home, you left us beautiful memories. Your love is still our guide and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again. I will always love and miss you dearly Brent

I lost my wife suddenly and unexpectedly almost 11 years ago, so I know the pain you're both going through. Whether we believe in God or not, it's difficult for us to understand why these things happen. Time will heal, but the pain will never completely go away. Take care and stay strong.
