Faye, just knowing what a wonderful daughter he raised, lets me know what a wonderful man your father was. Your devotion to him in his last years while juggling a million other things was superwoman-like. My prayers and thoughts remain with you as you reflect on your wonderful memories with your father.

Faye, the best part of your father; no longer has anything to separate him from OUR FATHER, THE CREATOR of "Every Good and Perfect Thing"! Absent from the body; Present with THE LORD! Then the body goes back to the dust from whence it came and the spirit back to GOD who gave it. Cherish the memories and let him live through you all; by being to others what he was to you! My father transitioned 43 years ago; I was only 19, and discovered my "Cloud of Witness". Yours just expanded! Your father is ONE with GOD, interceding on your behalf; more powerfully now; making the Awesome Powers and Unsearchable Riches of OUR FATHER continually yours!!!

Faye, Remember what your mother always told you during these difficult times.
Matthew 17:20:"Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

Faye, your dad is back with your mom. I know you will miss him just as you do your mom. But memories will always be there.
I am humbled to have met another WW II veteran, your dad. I am glad that there are Americans like your dad and Tom who raised their hands and said, here I am, take me.
