I am so very sorry, for the loss of a good man. Brian, and I were the very best of friends. He was more than a friend to me. He was a brother. We enjoyed fishing together, more than anything. To hear the news has broken my heart. Brian was the best kind of person, you would ever want to meet. He was a very caring, and true person. He often thought of others, before himself. I know the world has lost a very good person, but heaven has gained a mighty angel. I pray that God is with the family, during this difficult time. I know we're supposed to be comforted in the fact, Brian has gone to a better place.I hurt so very bad. I am so very sorry this has happened, to such a great guy. I wish we had stayed in touch, a little more after I moved away. I am at a total loss for words. I can only pray that God gives us the strength we need, to continue on. I know that one day, we will meet again. Until then, God bless your soul, Brian. We all love, and miss you.

Man, I hate reading this, Brian and I go way back. He used to go see my band play back in the early 90's. We both loved bikes and I see he had gotten a new one. I haven't seen B in a couple years because I moved away for my job. He was an awesome, hard working, genuine dude, all his life and I feel privileged to say I was his friend. Ride on my old friend.....

To the family of Brian R. Bowden,
It was Sunday. After church we stopped by a friend's house, but she was not there. We did not plan to go towards Greenville. Immediately my mother (Geneva) said, “Pull the car over so I can pray for the man.” I asked with authority as we got closer, if there were any believer out there, let's hold hands and pray, because we believe where one or two are gathered that God is in the midst. Mom leaned down by Brian's side and began to pray, calling on our eternal Father. Even though we were asked to stop…our lips may have stopped moving, but our hearts kept on praying. My mother and I wanted you to know that your husband, son, brother, cousin and friend was there with caring people until the Ambulance left.
Mrs. Bowden, we will continue to hold you up in prayer during the difficult days ahead. This one thing I know for sure…the trumpet shall sound (I Corinthians 15:52), and those who have gone on before, shall be raised. Until then know that Hebrews 12: 1 says that there is a great cloud of witnesses in the grand stands, cheering us on until we finish this race. Hold on to His promises, the final bend is approaching. It won't be long now!
With Sympathy, Geneva & Pamela Ward
