I can't believe 3 years have passed already. It probably doesn't get any easier. We now have 3 bird feeders outside our kitchen window and I think of Bronwyn when the birds come to visit. Thinking of you Cathy, Rob and David.

I met Bronwyn only once when I visited the Birdwatch store to talk about an event they are involved in at St. Timothy's. I was struck by her passion and commitment for the natural world that she loved, knew well, and has left too soon. My condolences to you all.

Dear Dalziel family,
My deepest condolences on the tragic loss of your dear daughter Bronwyn. She is gone far too soon and I hope that there is some consolation in the knowledge that she had some very special experiences, and truly lived in a way that many with a longer time on earth are not able to. The support of her family was huge in allowing her to develop in her own unique way and to get out and involved with birds and banding at a young age. I understand why the common grackle was her favourite bird, and I will think of her when I see them.
Wishing you strength and, with time, peace in the memory of her special place in your and so many others lives.

There are no words that i can say to make this sadness go away. I was fortunate enough to have seen Bronwyn grow over the years. She was one of my sons oldest and best friends. She made a difference in so many lives. I hope that you know she was an angel on earth. As one parent to another i wish you peace and love. You did an amazing job. The world was a much better place because of her. I hope that all these wishes help you in the days and months to come. I am truly sorry for your loss.

My deepest condolences. I met Bronwyn a couple of times at the Tommy Thompson Park Research Station during the annual Spring Bird Festival. I so enjoyed chatting with her about her studies and her tireless work with the birds she deeply loved; I could tell right away that she was a lovely, caring human being. I am so sorry for your loss -- it is also a great loss to the birding community and to the world of ornithology.

Serendipity was at work when five years ago David at Birdwatch was looking for a part time salesperson and gained an eager and incredibly knowledgeable student. I was still working at the store occasionally and was impressed with Bronwyn's subtle humour and expertise. As we travelled more Bronwyn agreed to check our house and keep the feeders topped up. I chatted with her the week before Easter when I dropped the key off and felt the utmost confidence in her judgement. May the wind stay beneath her wings and her spirit soar.

Working at Birdwatch and attending TOC meetings will never be the same without Bronwyn's presence and dry sense of humour. She was such a kind and intelligent person with a passion for birds that was to be admired. My thoughts are with you at this time.

Dalziel Family-
I was heartbroken to learn this morning of Bronwyn's passing. I taught Bronwyn at Northern S. S. She was an amazing student. I learned a lot from her! I will always cherish our grade 12 art field trip to the Metro Zoo. She was the most knowledgeable person on site and shared information about every creature large and small in her usual quiet and most humble way. She could draw them too! Not long ago I saw her on television banding birds. It was so nice to have that update. I was so proud of her. She was attaining her goals and was following her passion in life. It didn't surprise me that she was so accomplished at such a young age. I will never forget Bronwyn. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Bronwyn and I spent 2 weeks together exploring the Hudson Bay Lowlands in June of 2014, I was inspired by her passion and knowledge of birds. She taught me so much, I wanted to be just like her - incredibly unique, smart, thoughtful, and imaginative. We will all miss her dearly.

My deepest condolences to the Dalziel family. Bronwyn was younger than my own kids but I learned so much from her in the five years since I started volunteering at Tommy Thompson Park. She was always calm and unflappable, and so smart and funny and multi-faceted. I can hear her voice in my mind now telling a funny story while we waited for the next net check. She cared so passionately about birds -- each individual bird and all of them together. There's a very large, Bronwyn-shaped gap in the world now that can never be filled. She will be deeply missed.

I have fond memories working with Bronwyn at Tommy Thompson Park laughing about birds, news, and other general silliness. Dear Catherine, Robert, and David,
My condolences on the loss of a kind, brilliant, and unique daughter, sister, and friend. I went to high school with Bronywn and I felt like I could talk to her about anything without judgment. She was also extremely helpful and kind, and helped me with many a school project. I distinctly remember going to her house to work on a project, getting introduced to her pets, and having a great time. Above all, she was a person who was very giving and deeply cared about others. May her memory be a blessing.

Dear Dalziel Family,
I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Bronwyn about 8 years ago when she first started volunteering for us at the Tommy Thompson Park Bird Research Station (TTPBRS). She has been the rock that has turned the TTPBRS into the great success that it is today. Bronwyn's dedication and commitment to the station and birdlife was truly astounding. She always had a smile and infectious enthusiasm, even when we surprised her with tv cameras or unannounced tours of the station.
My sincerest condolences go to her family and friends. On behalf of the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and the family of Tommy Thompson please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss.

Catherine, Robert and David. I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of Bronwyn's untimely passing. Sandi and I have fond memories of the times we shared over the years when we lived on Roe Ave and our girls Bronwyn and Kirsten were friends having met at John Wanless School. While the physical distance between us is significant the memories and the emotions feel as close as the 5 blocks that once separated us. I hope that this message and the others like it will bring you some comfort during this most difficult time and please know that all the Bradleys are thinking of you.

Dear Dalziel Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Bronwyn. I met Bronwyn during the summer of 2014 when I starting working with her at Birdwatch. For the past two years, She taught me so much about birds and helped me with pretty much everything. It was a pleasure to hear her talking about birds with as much passion as she did. We had many great conversations when the store wasn't busy. She will be missed dearly. My deepest sympathies for your loss.

Bronwyn's enthusiasm stood out on our early morning rides to the bird banding station. Often she started talking when she got in the car and did not stop until we arrived at our destination. I heard all about the grackles that nested near home. She was an administrator of an online site and also had several friends on this site. She talked about the challenges of dealing with the various personalities. I heard a fair bit of Japanese- she seemed to love the challenge of learning a difficult language. We talked about dealing with different kinds of people and It helped me understand some of the people I came in contact with.
For me, her passion and enthusiasm stand out. I miss her.
My condolences to her Mom, Dad and Brother.

Dear Dalziel Family,
I first met Bronwyn in 2013 when I joined TTPBRS in the fall. We spent many late nights together conducting owl banding, including one incredibly fun Halloween where we scared ourselves silly out at TTP. She was so intelligent, quirky, interesting and dozens of other adjectives. I feel so lucky to have gotten to work with her and share in some of her passion. My deepest condolences and big hugs to all of you ❤

Today we opened the Tommy Thompson Park Bird Research Station for Spring migration monitoring, without Bronwyn. There was a large hole in everything. And silent evidence of her contribution all around us: in data questions that she would have had the answers to, net repairing, in the neatly organized boxes of bands, her handwriting on the tracking board from last year. Especially in the little sculpture she made every year with the scrap ends of banding wire. Bronwyn, we miss you so, as colleague and friend. And are holding your grieving family in our minds and hearts as we try to learn how to continue in this work you loved without you.

Bronwyn was a wonderful TA and her passion for birds made me fall in love with these beautiful flying creatures as well. I still remember we were talking about her love for grackles in the cafe in High Park during our school field trip and she said she liked them because no one else does. She was so nice and patient whenever students approached her with questions. She was the same age as me... I'm shocked to hear the news and I'm very sorry for your loss.
