CLARENCE EUGENE "COTTON" PETERSON, born November 10, 1930 in Pawnee, Texas died August 26, 2011 in Pearland, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane; children, Biff and Nancy Peterson of Granbury, Texas, Starr and Troy Broussard of Lake Jackson, Texas, Tessa and Brian Swientonioski of Friendswood, Texas; grandchildren, Kylee and Kason Peterson, Taryn and Tanah Broussard, Brenna and Breely Swientonioski; sisters, Betty Galloway and Evelyn Ballew. He had a successful coaching career in Gonzales, Texas and Angleton, Texas before becoming an administrator in Angleton for twenty-eight years. Retiring in 1990 he and Jane resided in...
CLARENCE EUGENE "COTTON" PETERSON, born November 10, 1930 in Pawnee, Texas died August 26, 2011 in Pearland, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane; children, Biff and Nancy Peterson of Granbury, Texas, Starr and Troy Broussard of Lake Jackson, Texas, Tessa and Brian Swientonioski of Friendswood, Texas; grandchildren, Kylee and Kason Peterson, Taryn and Tanah Broussard, Brenna and Breely Swientonioski; sisters, Betty Galloway and Evelyn Ballew. He had a successful coaching career in Gonzales, Texas and Angleton, Texas before becoming an administrator in Angleton for twenty-eight years. Retiring in 1990 he and Jane resided in Panorama Village, Texas where he was on the golf course almost daily. We will miss him and remember him for all the strength, courage, generosity, patience and love that he left behind.

The family will be present to receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 29, 2011. Memorial services will begin at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. A reception will follow.
