Caleb Donovan Thacker, 19, of Chestnut Ridge Ct., Cartersville, Georgia, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012. Caleb was born January 24, 1993, in Marietta, the son of Greg and Laura (Hart) Thacker, was employed at Northstar and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Doris Hart and his aunt, Judy Colsson. Caleb was born January 24, 1993, in Marietta, the son of Greg and Laura (Hart) Thacker, was employed at Northstar and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Doris Hart and his aunt, Judy Colsson.
Surviving are his parents, Greg and Laura Thacker, two brothers, Jacob Thacker and Charlie Thacker, his sister Lindsey Vick and her husband, Chris, niece and nephew, Elliot Claire Vick and Walter Vick, his true love, Ashley Thacker, grandparents, Lamar and Doris Thacker, all of Cartersville, two aunts, Bridgett Fuller, of Cartersville, Jeannette Hart of Tucker, two uncles, Robert Hart of Atlanta, Steve Colsson of Buford and a number of cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Rowland Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Ringwalt officiating and Robert Hart delivering the eulogy.
Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Devon Pruitt, Dalton Worthington, Ethan Whorton, Josh Whorton, Dominick Windsor and Shelby Smith.
