Dear Family of Candy,
We just learned of Candy's death through a Baylor friend's email. (Jan. 17, 2013) What a loss! She was always a bright spot at our '58 "Greatest of the Great" Class Reunions! Since I am from Dallas, I can relate to all that is written in her obituary. God bless the family as you treasure Candy's life and legacy.

Mrs. Post was an invester. The best kind of invester. The kind that invested in people. Lucky, lucky me to have been one of the million to receive her love, her time, and her laugh.

Becky and Cindy...Thank you for sharing your Mom with me over the last 17 years. I giggle with the memories of her calling me asking for the DG calendar - but not to tell you two! Thanking God for every memory. Today and Always.

Candy was a great friend to the Woodrow community years after her own children had graduated. She was a great cheerleader for my kids and for all kids. We worked on DG recs together for years and again, she championed each and every girl from Woodrow to make sure they got their fair shake going into rush. I miss her and Woodrow will miss her.

Miss Walling was my sixth grade teacher at B.H. Macon Elementary School in Dallas, 1958-59. I believe that it was her rookie year. She was a great lady and a fine teacher. I became a teacher and retired in June, 2011 after 40 years in the Dalllas ISD. I have wanted to find her for decades. I cherish many wonderful memories of her. I regret that She was so close and I never found her.

Max, All of us at The Senior Source are thinking of you and your family. As you know, Candy was a big favorite around here. I smile thinking of her terrific sense of humor! As a matter of fact, she probably has already changed the angels' dress code to something less fussy than those cumbersome white robes....I see jeans, which she always said she wanted to wear to our Spirit and SAGE festivities. She was a special lady and will be missed terribly. Take care of yourselves, Max and family.
