Marilyn and family, words can not express my sorrow at hearing that Phil died.
There are so many memories. He and went to high school together almost 65 years ago, worked summer jobs together, threw paper routes together, fired more bullets together, even flew together a couple of times.
Marilyn, I remember when he met you and that he told me you were the girl he was going to marry.
I could go on for a long time but I do not have the words to do justice to the guy I knew.
While there is no way I can get there for the funeral, please believe I will be there in thought and spirit.
God Bless and keep you all!

Another good man has fallen! I knew Phil only through church at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church, and I knew him as a devoted servant
of God and a true friend! May he find eternal peace and consolation in the
final resting place for us all.
