Carl Tilford Burkhead, 83, of Louisville, is survived by his wife, of 63 years, Marilyn; children, Rick Burkhead (Jenny), Terri Wilhelmi (Dan), Patti Schott-Cobb (Joe Cobb, Jr.), and Andy Burkhead; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son in-law, David Schott, Sr.
Carl was a 50 year employee of Mann Chemical Co, a member of Lewis-Parkland Masonic Temple No.638, Aahmed Grotto, The Scottish Rite, and a Shriner.
Visitation will be from 3pm to 8 pm on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd.
A celebration of Carl's Life will be held at 12 pm Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the funeral home.
