Carl Daniel Beaty, 93, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012. He was born July 21, 1918 to the late Matthew and Clara Mabel (McGinnis) Beaty.
Carl is survived by his children, Carl Franklin Beaty and wife, Mary of Belmont, David Lee Beaty and wife, Kathy of Belmont, Dixie Rhinehart and husband, Billy of Gastonia; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Beaty and one daughter, Carlene Christian.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 4, 2012 at North Belmont Church of God. Pastor Carl Overton will preside. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens, Mt. Holly, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Gaston County, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
