Carmen and I were great friends for over 64 years. We went to Elementary and Junior high together. We lived one block from each other in Pensacola. We were also in the band in Junior High and both played the clarinet.
After she moved away she would always come to see me when she was in town.
We never failed to send each other a funny Birthday card every year.
I just can't believe how fast this terrible disease took her.
My husband and I happened to be in Philly a few years ago and Carmen and Jack met us and we had a very good visit.
The last time I saw her was when she came to town before she left Fl. We had lunch with her.
Sean, I will never forget your sweet Mama.
God Bless You,
Mavis Shelby Rosetti.

I knew Carmen thru Walmart where we both worked & a ladies social dinner group in Springhill. She was a hoot to be with, I enjoyed her company. I had a hat dinner party at my home for divas. Everyone came in fancy hats, trying to outdo the next; Carmen came in a beanie with a propeller on it. It was so funny, we all loved it. It just so happened that we had many work breaks together, especially during Jack's illness. We talked about him a lot, she always had a positive attitude. God bless you all
