Carol Ray Wallace Harris, passed away on August 8, 2017 at the age of 82. She was born in New Orleans to Adam F Wallace and Laura Ray Daste. Carol attended Sacred Heart Academy, upon graduation; she modeled for Maison Blanche, and worked as a stenographer for the Louisiana State Department of Transportation.



Carol eloped with Rodney Harris keeping it a secret for a year before she finally told her parents. They were married for 43 years until Rodney passed away in 2003.



Carol is survived by her only child Ronna Geralyn LeJeune (Jim), family, friends and her beloved pets.



Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Gathering at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 2PM – 5PM. Private inurnment to follow at a later date.
