Dear Betsy, your mom and dad are/were some of the nicest folks we've ever met, and I hope Jim can manage life after Carol, as you try to live life after Len. You and your family are an inspiration to all of us, and we love you dearly. Love and prayers, Bill and Nina

We are sorry to learn of Carol's passing. I have many fond memories of our WAVE activities together. She was a kind and gracious individual and will be a loss to all who knew her.

I am so sorry to hear that Mrs Adams has passed away. I also grew up on Mildred and playing "Over the Roof" in the Adams yard and learning to play "Horse" on the Adams basketball course are some of my favorite memories. The Adams family was always welcoming and always kind. Now as a mother myself on a block full of young children, I try to be so open. The lessons Carol Adams taught with her kindness live on.

Jim and Sue,
We are sorry to hear about your mom's passing away. We think the picture of her is great and it seems to capture a glimpse of a vibrant person fulfilling just the first part of her life in order to get to the most important part of her life--her family. Sorry we are out of town and will miss the services.

Dear Adams Family,
Like Vicky's posting, I too am glad I grew up on Mildred Ave. under the care of women like Carol. Piling kids into the bronze Plymouth station wagon to ride in the Holy Redeemer parade was just one of many things she did to make our lives special and memorable.

With deepest sympathy we send our prayers and love. I have so many memories of playing at the Adam's house, 4 square, tether ball, basket ball, I learned to maneuver my bike in my first "turn around" trick in the driveway. And of course Tommy was so special to us and especially Greg. We love and miss and thank you for the loving memories peace be with you all.

Dear Jim and Jim and Betsy and Barb and all who are dear to Carol
I happened to live my first six years next door to Fred Hubbell, another Webster Groves UE guy. Several decades ago, I asked him whether he knew Jim the UE guy. He said, "Sure, I am proud to say we know each other. But his Carol is really a jewel."

How fondly I remember the hours upon hours all of us neighborhood kids spent at the Adams house growing up, whether it was putting on a play, camping in the back yard or playing a game in the basement. I now realize what a great mom Carol was to allow all us to spend so much time at her home. Her kindness and patience will always be remembered.
