Obituary

Carol Helen Amatuzio, 78, of Cloquet, passed away peacefully Friday evening, July 5, surrounded by her family at Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital. She was born in Duluth in 1934. In her early years, Carol worked at Arthur Murray's Dance Studio. Carol had an eye for fashion and interior decorating. She also enjoyed bowling, tennis, and snowmobiling. Carol was a natural at waterskiing. She loved the 20 plus years of living on the white sands of Panama City Beach, Florida. Carol Helen Amatuzio, 78, of Cloquet, passed away peacefully Friday evening, July 5, surrounded by her family at Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital. She was born in Duluth in 1934.

In her early years, Carol worked at Arthur Murray's Dance Studio. Carol had an eye for fashion and interior decorating. She also enjoyed bowling, tennis, and snowmobiling. Carol was a natural at waterskiing. She loved the 20 plus years of living on the white sands of Panama City Beach, Florida.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Mabel and James, and her siblings, Clarence, Isabelle, Marie, and Rose.

She is survived by her children, Lorry, Lynette, Daniel (Jolene), and Alan (Gina) Amatuzio; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her sisters, Janice Geasley and Janet "Pee Wee" Kujawa. Carol is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be Friday, July 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Bell Brothers Funeral Home, 601 N 56th Ave W, Duluth. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel. Interment at Oneota Cemetery.
