Carol Marie Futch Bores entered into eternal life on March 6, 2013, after a two and a half year courageous battle with breast cancer. Our darling Carol – Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend was born on Christmas Day in 1952, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Grace and Troy Futch, who moved to Pensacola in 1954. Carol loved Pensacola where she grew up and then lived on Pensacola Beach for many years raising her children and together with her husband, Keith operated Pensacola Beach Realty.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Keith M. Bores, and her daughters, Samantha Bores Parsons, and Marie Bores of Pensacola and Michelle Bores of Jacksonville Beach, Florida. She is also survived by the joy of her life, her granddaughter, Annabelle Grace Parsons, her sister and brother-in-law, Lynda and Andy Creed and her nephews, Andrew Creed, III, and John Bonner Creed and her niece, Carlisle Creed. Bonner, Jr., of Atlanta, and their families, her father-in-law, Joseph Eugene Bores, and sister-in-law, Kathy (Mark) Lewis of Homestead, FL, and their son, Jesse.

Carol was a graduate of Brenau Academy in Gainesville, GA, in 1970, and Florida State University, in 1974, where she majored in Visual Art Design with a minor in Spanish. She loved and enjoyed speaking Spanish, traveling to Mexico, Spain and the Islands. She also taught Spanish to the students at Pensacola Beach Elementary, which named her "The Volunteer of The Year". She was the President of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority at FSU and remained an active alumna throughout her life.
