Carol A. Tardiff 64, of Winchester, NH and formerly of Keene, NH, died peacefully, Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Keene Center Genesis, Court Street, Keene, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Keene, NH, July 22, 1949, the daughter of William Henry and Kathryn Belle (Curtis) Kirker. Mrs. Tardiff worked for sixteen years in custodial services at Keene High School. She has resided in Winchester for the past thirty years. She enjoyed metal detecting, watching old television shows, and playing games on her computer. Carol A. Tardiff 64, of Winchester, NH and formerly of Keene, NH, died peacefully, Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Keene Center Genesis, Court Street, Keene, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Keene, NH, July 22, 1949, the daughter of William Henry and Kathryn Belle (Curtis) Kirker.

Mrs. Tardiff worked for sixteen years in custodial services at Keene High School. She has resided in Winchester for the past thirty years.

She enjoyed metal detecting, watching old television shows, and playing games on her computer. She took great joy in riding in sports cars, especially riding in her Mazda 6. Her favorite pastime was that spent with her family at family gatherings and cookouts, especially when these gatherings included her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, David W. Tardiff and his wife, Melissa, of Richmond, NH, Christopher Trow of Francestown, NH, Michelle L. Campbell and her husband, Fred, of Winchester; six grandchildren, Tannah Fosburgh, Caleb Cashman, Dylan Cashman, Maisie Tardiff, Chyan Campbell, Jaxen Campbell; a great-grandson, Ivan Boroski; a sister, Audrey Juniper and her husband, Charles, of Keene; her longtime companion, Tim Wilton of Winchester; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her step-father, Ernest "Tuffy" Morin; and two brothers, Robert H. Kirker, Sr. and Denis Whitcomb.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 03, 2014 at 11:00AM in the Monadnock View Cemetery, Park Avenue, Keene. Family and friends are welcome. There are no public calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Mrs. Tardiff's memory to Patient Care Needs of Hospice, Home Healthcare Hospice and Community Services, PO Box 564, Keene, NH 03431-0564.

The Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH is assisting the family with the arrangements.
